ŠKODA called on OuiBeat to design its cycling sponsorship strategy. At OuiBeat we firmly believe that the new way to advertise is to give voice to your fan communities; so we have created a program that generates discussions (User Generated Content) and that is visible on social networks. In itself, a more authentic form of advertising generated by the public themselves.
We have created the first community programme in the world of cycling!
The programme: creation of regional clubs of amateur cyclists managed by team leaders who meet to ride and launch sporting and social media challenges to show France which region has the most influence!
Inspire and unite the community of cyclists and non-cyclists, produce user generated content through a national programme of amateur clubs and win over target audiences for the brand and its products: That’s the ŠKODA We Love Cycling programme for the 2018 season we designed.
What we did: strategy development, brand content and social wall production, support on community and creative management, monthly performance analysis and athlete recommendations (including contract signing with Matthias Dandois, six-time Flatland BMX champion)

Initial results
• 1,500 people signed up to be one of the 13 team leaders in France during the recruitment phase
• 6,000 people signed up for the national ŠKODA We Love Cycling programme within one month
• 800+ members in each of the 13 regional clubs’ private Facebook groups
• 3.5m+ impressions made counting all club UGC
• 380% more engagement than the 2017 programme
